2024 Colorado State Fair Parade

Did you know that the Colorado State Fair Parade is one of Colorado’s oldest traditions? Each year there are between 75 and 100 entries representing local businesses, schools, political candidates and various non profits.

Parking can be tricky if you do not get there early but honestly if you are of health bones, you can sit along the sidewalks or just stand and rest against a building. All in all the event takes about 1 1/2 hours and you will be delighted with awesome floats, free drinks from Pepsi and the occasional candy tossed your way by float goers.

Our favorite floats are the high schools. They always have the biggest and most participation and every few minutes you get to jam out with great music as everyone from the cheerleaders, athletes, teachers and several dozen members of all the classes party for those few moments as they pass. If you are looking for a fun free event each August, you def want to head down to Pueblo’s downtown area for the Colorado State Fair Parade.
