Family Photographer: Pueblo, Colorado Springs, Canon City and Walsenburg

I want you to think about two different scenarios. Then, lets talks.

Scenario #1

You are excited because you are getting family photos. You decided that you want something amazing, with a pretty background and the entire family dressed in matching outfits all smiling at the camera. You hop on the internet and begin searching for ideas. There are so many cute ones so you order a bunch of clothes off the internet and when they arrive your spouse says the shirt doesn’t fit right, your kids say that theirs are too itchy. That’s ok. You still got this. You pick the perfect spot based on all these great spots you found online. You decide 12pm is the perfect time of the day. The light is bright, the kids will be awake but once you get to the spot you realize that the sun is too high and the whole family is squinting. The kids begin to get cranky because their are still itchy and your spouse asks how long this will take because there is a game on. You set up your phone on a nearby rock and set up the timer mode. You tell the family to all look at the camera and smile. You run to the family and the phone takes a photo. You run over and realize that the kids were not looking and your spouse had a weird expression and what is wrong with your pose. Why are your feet like that? So you try again. This time even worse. The kids look upset, your spouse was standing up straight and SERIOUSLY, what is wrong with your feet. Do they really look like that? You rinse and repeat for 30 minutes before ultimately giving up, feeling defeated and telling yourself you will never get good family photos.

Scenario #2

You book the Lepiks. We immediately send you a style guide to help you pick the right outfit for your family. We link you to our favorite locations around the Pueblo area. We suggest the best time of day because we understand you want the best photos…. No you deserve the best photos. The kids still think the clothing is itchy because they are kids and let’s be honest, everything is itchy. Your spouse says they want to hurry because there is a game on. No worries. Within the first few minutes we teach our family our posing guide that makes sure everyone knows exactly how to stand, how to sit, how to walk and how to look their best. We begin with photos of the whole family. We quickly get the kids attention and look at that, they are all smiling. We give them a quick break and snag photos of mom and dad. Because we taught you how to pose we get through these photos in just a few minutes. Kids had a chance to blow off some energy and they are ready for their second set of photos. Boom, just sibling photos, individual photos a few dad jokes and a few minutes later we got a ton more. Ok, next location, mom and dad walk together and let the kids run ahead. Boom a few more photos of the kids playing and few photos of mom and dad walking and laughing. Is your spouse actually having a good time? Oh wait the game just started, but your photographer assured you that you are almost done and they look at their phone to tell you that your favorite team just scored and already up. SCORE! A few more minutes later and your photographer says they are done… Wait, how is that possible? You got enough photos? They assure you that yes they did. A few days later your photos arrive and they are BEAUTIFUL. Everything you hoped for.

Alright, so which scenario do you like more? #2 obviously. So what are you waiting for. Book Lepik Photography and leave everything except the itchy clothes and the final score to us. We can’t fix every issue but we can promise you beautiful images of your family.
