Pueblo, Colorado Downtown | Jackson Senior Portraits

Jackson was such an awesome young man. Not only did his photos come out amazing but having him serenade us while we were shooting photos made the experience all the better. Yes, we asked him to actually play while we took his photos. It was a win/win for both of us.

Jackson & his mom chose the downtown area for his senior portraits. I think this fit so well with his personality and style. The urban/grunge style of the train yard and abandoned buildings really fit the vibe. Locations are so important when choosing where to do a portrait session. If you enjoy the outdoors and nature it would not make sense to do a session here at the train yard. Two things that can break the feeling of a photo would be location and clothing options. You might say, well what about awkward smiles or just me… NOPE. We teach our clients posing and the art of a great photography. It is honestly something you can learn in just 10-15 minutes before your session. The only thing I can’t change after a session is your clothing and location. For Jackson, he was on point for location, outfit and props.

We were honored to be able to take these photos and I know that not having a traditional graduation for Jackson due to COVID-19 has got to be extremely difficult. We hope that Leslie and Jackson look back on these photos as a reminder of how awesome life is going to be for their family!
